Local Aladdin security solutions representative Camsoft Solutions announced that Aladdin eSafe, an integrated, gateway-based anti-virus, spyware control, Web browsing security and application filtering solution, received the 2006 Information Security Decisions Innovation Award for Large Companies.
This year's Information Security Decisions Best in Show Awards recognised outstanding products featured at the recent Information Security Decisions conference held from 18 to 20 October at the Hilton Chicago in Chicago, Illinois.
Nominations were reviewed by a team of judges which included Burton Group Security and Risk Management Strategies analysts, the editors of TechTarget's Security Media Group and security professionals attending the Information Security Decisions event.
The Aladdin eSafe content security solution was awarded the 2006 Information Security Decisions Best in Show Innovation Award that recognises a product that takes an interesting approach to solving a common security challenge.
Nominees were judged on features of the technology, innovations in problem solving and distinguishing aspects of the product that differentiate it from competing offerings.
"The information security market features a wealth of products. The Best In Show awards programme is a chance for us to highlight those that our editors, Burton analysts and our conference delegates feel are worthy of recognition," said Jon Panker of TechTarget's Security Media Group.
"It's a great honour for Aladdin eSafe to receive such significant recognition during the Information Security Decisions event, one of the industry's premier conferences," said Shimon Gruper, vice-president of technologies for the Aladdin eSafe Business Unit. "Judged not only by TechTarget and Burton Group analysts, but also the attendees themselves, this award stands as powerful recognition of eSafe's uniquely integrated, proactive approach to protecting organisations from malware and other threats. Aladdin remains a leading innovator in content security and is committed to answering organisations' need for easily-managed, feature-packed solutions for the gateway."
