Alcatel-Lucent signs $68.17m contracts
Alcatel-Lucent and Thales have signed two new contracts with Shanghai Shentong Metro worth $68.17 million, states Trading Markets.
According to the contracts, Shanghai Alcatel-Lucent will provide key-type comprehensive systems, send experts to take charge of the project management and network integrated service, and take responsibility for the maintenance of suppliers' solution plans.
Michael Fabian, an official in the industry and public relations department of Alcatel-Lucent, said the company had tailored a telecommunications and signal solution plan for Shanghai Metro.
AtTask named to Inc. 500
AtTask, a provider of project and portfolio management software, has been named to the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing private companies in the US, reports Market Watch.
The company reported its sales grew 740% over the past three years, ranking it number 420 on the list, and number 23 among technology companies.

XP releases Web application
XP Software Solutions released its first Web application through the Etelos Marketplace, says Market Watch.
SharpForge is now available as an on-demand installation. In addition, it will be available as an open source download.
SharpForge is an online collaboration and project management application that enables teams, clients, consultants and user communities to communicate and collaborate.
