Alchemex (Pty) Ltd launched a unique skills development process in April 2008. The Alchemex Knowledge College is aimed at enhancing skills for report writers, from the basics of Excel-based reporting right through to creating complex business intelligence dashboards.
The Alchemex Knowledge College offers the following to registered members at absolutely no charge:
* FREE monthly product demos - where specific features of Alchemex software and reporting solutions are demonstrated via Web video recordings. These recordings are based on feedback from the channel and are available to be viewed or downloaded.
* FREE Alchemex Forum access - providing Alchemex users with free, up-to-the-minute access to support, report-writing, Excel and BI information. Business intelligence champions will have the opportunity to register on the Alchemex forum at http://www.alchemex-forum.com/ allowing questions to be posted and answers to be received from Alchemex users and Excel report writers from around the world.
* FREE monthly newsletters - filled with report writing information and tips and tricks.
* FREE access to all new products - allowing the ability to test all new Alchemex software during the development phase, BEFORE it reaches the market.
* FREE access to Alchemex's You Tube enablement site - keeping members updated via bulletins on future events at www.youtube.com/knowledgecollege.
In addition, Alchemex offers the following training courses, at excellent rates, only to our Knowledge College members:
* Five-day Alchemex Enablement Training - An advanced five-day course that takes Alchemex Report Manager and Administrator training course to a new level. This course is developed around creating meaningful business reports. Certified delegates will leave this course being able write advanced business intelligence reports immediately.
This course is open to anyone wanting to grow their business intelligence reporting skills.
Learners need to have intermediate Excel skills as well as a good understanding of database structures.
* Six-week Alchemex Enablement Correspondence Training - An advanced six-week correspondence course that takes the Report Manager and Administrator training course to a new level. This training consists of weekly assignments and feedback sessions. This training is for the user that does not have five days to spend in a training room.
Certified delegates will leave this course being able write advanced business intelligence reports immediately.
This course is open to anyone wanting to grow their business intelligence reporting skills.
Learners need to have intermediate Excel skills as well as a good understanding of database structures.
If a learner starts off with the Alchemex Enablement Training course and then stays in touch with the monthly demos, updates and via the Forum, they will be able to develop their skills from basic knowledge right through to advanced report writing and will be in a position to generate consulting income with immediate effect.
To kick-start the Knowledge College, Alchemex has identified and registered in excess of 100 business intelligence champions from various channel partners including Sage Pastel, VIP Payroll, Accpac, SAP Business One and Sybiz (Australia), with the vision of enabling them with the necessary Alchemex skills to be in a position to identify the best use of Alchemex software in different business scenarios as well as to provide customised reports to create business value.
