Alchemex offers Excel on Steroids
BI software vendor Alchemex, which last week rolled out its online reporting service, is preparing for a massive uptake of its Excel on Steroids online training, states Accounting Web.
Powered by Alchemex, www.mymonthlyreports.com provides a secure online reporting solution for small businesses, delivering automated financial and business management reports off a company's own data and in a familiar Excel format.
The company's launch offer provides the Management Pack service free to Sage50 users, allowing them to automate pre-formatted Profit and Loss, and Balance Sheet reports from their accounting package into Microsoft Excel as required.
IDC provides online diploma
A new online Advanced Diploma of Electrical Engineering from IDC Technologies is now being offered to answer the demand from currently employed engineers for more advanced training and distance learning courses, according to PACE Today.
The diploma was developed due to a recent surge in interest from people working in industry, including engineers and technicians, who are determined to work hard to keep their jobs during the slowing economic, said IDC.
“Tough times are here for a while, and many people holding down jobs in industry now look to update and strengthen their CVs in an effort to secure their positions and add value for employers,” said IDC Technologies' technical director, Steve Mackay.
Justice ministry seeks e-learning vendor
New Zealand's Ministry of Justice in Wellington is seeking a supplier for e-learning applications, states Reseller News.
According to a request for proposal documents, the ministry needs software for the delivery of training to office and judicial staff in the use of MS Office 2007.
It also requires a learning management system for the administration of the training application.
