Iningi Investments 149, trading as Alladin, has been bought by the LeadTrain shareholders to become a sister company to LeadTrain and LeadTrain Assessments.
Alladin, offering its learner and recruitment management systems for companies such as CIB, SAIA, Hollard, ABSA, Tracker, Bombela, SABC, Letsatsi and Chicken Management Services, has joined forces with LeadTrain to offer a more comprehensive range of products.
"The addition of Alladin allows us to offer a specialist low-cost and local LMS for companies that wish to deploy, track and manage e-learning courses on their own servers," says Richard Lilford of LeadTrain.
Because both the LeadTrain and Alladin systems have been developed on a similar platform, it allows the companies to benefit from the other`s expertise and ensures additional operational support to both companies.
Alladin has been offering its systems since 2004 and was designed around managing training linked to South African statutory requirements. The company`s rapid growth led to the need to join forces with a larger organisation such as LeadTrain, which has been operating in this market since 2000.
"The addition of Alladin means clients have the option of purchasing/licensing Alladin, a standalone local system, TopClass, an international Gartner 1st quadrant system, or use LeadTrains flagship, the Learning exchange as an ASP or hosted solution," adds Lilford.
LeadTrain provides solutions for the management of performance, learning, learnerships, skills development, e-learning and virtual collaboration. Our suite of solutions includes the locally developed and NQF-aligned Learning Exchange, providing cost-effective, easy, Web-based access solutions for the typical learning management and regulatory requirements of South African companies. LeadTrain is also one of six companies accredited by the DPSA to do psychometric competency assessments for government. LeadTrain`s customers span a variety of sectors, including government, financial services, communications and energy. For more information, please visit www.leadtrain.co.za.
