JSE-listed Allied Technologies (Altech) has appointed Robin Marsden as executive of corporate finance and Richard Wingfield as CIO.
Marsden and Wingfield joined the group during the course of June.
Marsden has executive and financial experience in SA, the US and international markets, with more than 15 years' board level experience. His previous positions include partner and head of M&A [mergers and acquisitions] and corporate finance advisory at Deloitte, CEO of Sage Life USA & Bermuda, chief financial officer and chief investment officer at Sage Life, and management consulting partner at Deloitte.
Wingfield has more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry, which covers the breadth of the technology, including global technology strategies/innovations, complex system design through to global system implementation and support, says Altech.
Wingfield was a CTO at JP Morgan for the past 10 years. He will report to CTO and chief strategic officer Willie Oosthuysen. Altech says he “will be responsible for providing vision and leadership in respect of the development and implementation of information technology initiatives to optimise and improve cost effectiveness, service quality and group business development”.
