Altiris, a pioneer of service-oriented management solutions, today announced the integration of enforceable security with IT service management, with the release of Altiris SecurityExpressions 4.0 software.
In addition, SecurityExpressions will now help secure Windows Vista, 64-bit and new Unix and Linux platforms.
As part of this release, SecurityExpressions will be integrated with Altiris Helpdesk Solution software, Altiris Task Server software and other CRM products, to help customers integrate security into day-to-day workflow and process operations. Critical to the vision of Altiris' service-oriented management, this new release will combine automated IT operations with enforceable security.
