First-tier Internet Service Provider (ISP), DataPro, has announced that almost all the companies in the JSE Securities listed Altron group have migrated to its ISP network. DataPro views the Altron group as a strategic client.
According to Douglas Reed, Managing Director, DataPro is well on track to reach a market capitalisation of R500 million within the next three to five years, ensuring the company achieves it gaol of being connected to more businesses than any other South African ISP.
Reed said in the last three months the lion`s share of the Altron group companies have migrated to its network for ISP services, including Xerox, Alcatel, Crabtree, the Aberdare group, Autopage Cellular and National Data Systems.
"The migration of these high level clients will have an impact on our bottom line earnings in the next 12-month period. It also affords us added credibility and critical mass to meet our objective of being the number one Internet service provider for corporates in South Africa in terms of number of companies connected."
