Nigeria sets hopes on outsourcing
President Umar Musa Yar'adua has said Nigeria's GDP will increase by 30% and the economy will be improved if the country fully embraces the outsourcing business, states AllAfrica.com.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the first National Outsourcing Conference organised by the World Bank and the Federal Ministry of Finance in Abuja, Yar'adua said the benefits of outsourcing to Nigeria are immense, "not just from an economic point of view but also from a socio-economic standpoint.
"We must utilise every opportunity to strive for not just quantitative growth, but also qualitative transformation that is measurable in the living conditions of our people," said Yar'adua.
