AMJ business solutions appointed as Oracle Certified business intelligence partner

Johannesburg, 30 Sep 1999

AMJ Business Solutions, the consulting arm of Y3K.CRM, the Cape-based division of JSE-listed Y3K Group, has been accredited with Oracle Certified Solutions Partner and "On Oracle" Partner status by Oracle Corporation of South Africa.

Oracle is focusing on working closely with accreditation partners focusing on market segments where Oracle does not have a strong presence. Y3K.CRM provides business solutions addressing CRM (customer relationship management) issues for medium to large enterprises and has clients across the spectrum of corporate South Africa, including JSE-listed softdrinks manufacturer SABCO (South African Bottling Company), a subsidiary of Coca-Cola.

"Our relationship with Oracle was established several years ago and has flourished to the extent that AMJ Business Solutions is regarded as Oracle`s premier partner in South Africa for providing expertise on its tools," says Keith Milner, marketing director of Y3K.CRM.

Oracle technology forms an integral part of Y3K.CRM`s solutions and various modules of its locally developed CRM application suite, CMX (Customer Management eXchange), run on the Oracle database. Y3K.CRM`s business-focused solutions may incorporate Oracle Business Intelligence products including Oracle Express, Oracle Financial Analyzer, Oracle Sales Analyzer and Oracle Discoverer.

"AMJ Business Solutions has shown that it has an excellent understanding of Oracle`s business intelligence tools and how to incorporate them into a business solution," says Vicky Butterworth, Oracle`s channel partner manager (Cape).

AMJ Business Solutions also presents selected Oracle certified training programmes and acts in a consulting capacity to Oracle in the execution of large projects and to enhance functionality of solutions.

"We believe this accreditation shows our close alignment with Oracle, placing us in a position to provide a better service to our clients," says Milner.
