Value-added distributor AmVia has appointed Solutions for Business Intelligence (SBi) as a value-added reseller of the EMC EmailXtender product. SBi is a division of ERP.com, and is currently a development partner across the EMC range in South Africa.
SBi offers a complementary suite of solutions including workflow, document management, content management, forms processing and data recovery for small, medium and large organisations. EMC EmailXtender is an e-mail archiving solution that helps retain and manage e-mail as a record of business in order to achieve regulatory compliance, adhere to corporate retention policies, and support legal discovery activities.
Says Kevin Hurwitz, Managing Director of AmVia: "Due to the growing need by companies to achieve compliance and better manage their e-mail environment as part of their enterprise content management strategy, we have seen a substantial increase in the demand for EMC EmailXtender."
AmVia has taken a strategic decision to develop partner relationship with resellers who are able to assist companies in achieving their enterprise content management (ECM) objectives at a strategic and product level.
