May 21st 2001, AmVia`s Infinite Mobile Delivery Server has won Best of Show in the Network Applications Software category at NetWorld+Interop 2001 Las Vegas.
AmVia, a leading provider of unified communications and mobile business solutions, distributes Infinite Mobile Delivery Server from Captaris (formerly AVT).
The company says that the product makes traditional desktop applications and information accessible to mobile workers via wireless, internet-enabled mobile phones and devices. Editors from two leading high-tech publications in the United States selected Best of Show winners in 12 categories from among more than 300 new products entered.
The Best of Show Awards identify innovative products debuted at Networld+Interop to help IT and network managers shorten the evaluation process in assessing new products. The awards are sponsored by NetWorld+Interop and CMP Media`s InternetWeek and Network Computing.
