Analogix Semiconductor today announced it will host a developers' summit, featuring its breakthrough SlimPort technology, which is based on the VESA Mobility DisplayPort (MyDP) standard. The 17 May event, at the Shanghai Marriott Hotel, will feature industry experts, who will address current trends and the future of mobile device connectivity.
The SlimPort Summit agenda includes:

* Display movies from a mobile device to an ultra-HD (4k) screen
* Render images captured from an ultra-HD mobile camera (13MP or above) to an ultra-HD screen without compression artifacts
* Charge a mobile device in minutes
* Use a new mobile USB 3.0 connector, open and free to adopt, for mobile devices while remaining backward compatible
* Super speed data transfer from a mobile device while rendering HD display, a PC light experience
