Performance management company, Analytix, has announced the availability of Version 4.5 of PerformancePlus, the latest generation of balanced scorecard software applications developed by INPHASE Software. With PerformancePlus Version 4.5, INPHASE Software has become the first vendor to align a single enterprise performance management and balanced scorecard product to an organisations performance management maturity cycle stage.
Organisations that are automating their performance management process often have an aspiration to achieve best practise in performance management, but know that they are on a journey, and are only at the early stages.
INPHASE characterised the major steps of this journey in the performance management framework it designed, TOMAS, as:
* Performance measurement
* Performance management
* Performance culture
"For many South African organisations, choosing to implement balanced scorecard software or not created a dilemma: the organisation was not ready to exploit the full power of balanced scorecard software at the beginning of its systematic journey, but it would never reach the best practice supported by software products such as PerformancePlus by using lesser approaches. The choice for companies up until now had been: pay excessive prices for software, and grow into it - or settle for something less," says Johan Botha, Managing Partner and CEO of Analytix.
"With PerformancePlus Version 4.5 a new special offer pricing model is available to the South African balanced scorecard market, that prices the cost of the software according to the different capabilities that each user within an organisation needs dependant on the organisation`s stage of performance management deployment, with an upgrade path for additional capabilities as and when the users in an organisation need to exploit them," says Botha.
"This pricing approach for PerformancePlus reduces the cost of deploying balanced scorecard software substantially both for organisations with a need for performance measurement and reporting today, but with an aspiration for performance management tomorrow and for organisations looking for very wide-scale deployment to many different types of users."
Many reports are now publishable from PerformancePlus free of charge, providing organisation-wide, or public performance results publication at no additional charge.
New training courses tailored to the different needs of user types, with end user software training starting at only two hours.
PerformancePlus Version 4.5 is fully Web-based and tested compatible with Microsoft .Net technology, and is available on servers: Windows NT Server, Windows 2000 Server, and for Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 and 6, on Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000 and XP. PerformancePlus has been certified by the Balanced Scorecard Collaborative.
