Annex distributes new state of the art Quad-Display graphics card

International graphics production company Matrox has introduced a new Quad Information Display (QID) graphics card to the local market, available through Annex Distribution.

Especially geared to provide high-performance quad-display support for dynamic public information display, the Matrox QID delivers accelerated quad analogue, digital or TV output for key markets including retail (bars, restaurants, shopping centres) and transport (airports).

"This product features AGP 8X architecture which allows for accelerated input of video and animation, 128MB of DDR SDRAM graphics memory to cater for intensive graphics requirements and multi-display support through 1 600 x 1 200 with 32bpp at 60Hz analogue and digital resolution, and multi TV out using independent TV out chip per output. It has the capability and technology to enhance visual displays," explains Bill Gradwell, General Manager at Annex Distribution.
