ANNEX Distribution, a supplier of building blocks to the local information and communications technology (ICT) industry, is scheduled to ship in more product to reinforce its range of audio and lifestyle products from international vendor Creative Labs.
The latest in audio and lifestyle products, aimed at younger generation PC users, was launched recently in Midrand. The display included the Inspire speaker range - Creative`s first 7.1 PC speaker systems, the Creative DC-CAM 3000Z digital camera and the Sound Blaster Audigy family of sound cards with eight-channel 108dB SNR clarity, built-in DTS Extended Surround decoding and 7.1 surround sound.
Also on display and available in Q4 this year are Creative`s MP3 players: the NOMAD Jukebox Zen NX, NOMAD Muvo NX, Creative NOMAD MoVo2, NOMAD MuVo2 X-Trainer, Creative Digital MP3 Player LX 200, Creative MuVo as well as the Creative I-Trigue speaker series.
"We have a strong relationship with Creative Labs and we are very excited about the latest market offering," explains Bill Gradwell, General Manager of ANNEX Distribution. "Even corporate, high-end users need a break now and again, and the gaming and complementary audio technology now available makes setting up digital home entertainment affordable. The underlying theme behind this technology is convenience and mobility - it is possible to enjoy the benefits of state-of-the-art sound and visual quality without having to readjust your lifestyle."
"With the availability of these new products in SA, Creative Labs announces its technological leadership in the digital entertainment arena," says Francis Hau, marketing manager at Creative Labs. "The company is moving more of its product offerings outside the PC box, allowing it to reach an even broader base of potential customers," he says.
"Our focus is very much in line with Creative Labs in that the primary market remains the younger, so called `digital` generation. But, with the ease of use and price range, we expect to be reaching into various other markets with the variety of product and features available," adds Gradwell.
Gauteng-based ANNEX Distribution is a leading distributor of building block solutions to sub-Saharan Africa.
Being the first Intel distributor in SA, the company features a line card of recognised brand names including Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Creative Labs Matrox, MSI, BenQ, and Eizo.
