Following its recent relocation to 5 Suni Avenue, Corporate Park, Midrand, ANNEX is ready to empower its client base and maintain its role as a supplier of building blocks to the ICT industry.
The company is focused distributor with a product portfolio that covers every aspect of today`s technology-driven business environment, incorporating CPUs, mobile technology, input devices, multimedia, printers, servers, software, networking, monitors, motherboards, optical storage and chassis components.
ANNEX consists of two divisions, Components and Fujitsu Siemens Computers, and the company boasts a line card of recognised brand names including Intel, its flagship product, as well as Matrox, AMD, Creative Labs, Eizo and others.
Within the Intel portfolio the company concentrates on three main areas - the CPU, the motherboard and the server products. "Along with a sprinkling of network products that the corporation is pushing especially from the establishment of `hotspots` point of view. The processor always seems to drive the technology and we are very focused on Intel from a solution-provision point of view and our strategy is based on helping clients gain value from their solutions, not simply box-drop," says Bill Gradwell, General Manager of ANNEX.
Gradwell says the company will continue to build on its established client base and work towards its objective of being the preferred supplier of `building blocks` to the industry.
"Aside from our focus on the server side of the business, which, according to recent statistics, has experienced growth of between 15% and 17% in the South African market - both the white box as well as multinational brand, we are also keen to leverage off the adoption of mobility.
"In fact, we are one of the few vendors to actually offer bare-bone notebook products to the industry and encouraging entrepreneurs to brand and sell the technology. Our intention is to push the Intel mobile CPU, and related technology such as Centrino Processor."
Fujitsu Siemens Computers is key to the success of Annex - here Annex will focus on the FSC notebook, desktop and server products, all carrying three-year international warranties, backed up by FSC appointed service providers internationally. "A relatively late starter in the South African space but they are catching up very fast with their `German` quality product range at extremely competitive pricing," adds Gradwell.
"We look forward to further providing value-added resellers, vendors and channel partners with benefits of established product, market experience and proven service and support. Our role is to ensure our customers receive the benefit of our certified technical staff in order that they remain at the forefront of IT requirements and e-business," concludes Gradwell.
