Infamous hacking collective Anonymous has published a retrospective video of the year gone by.
The video montage chronicles the group's activities throughout the year, including its attacks on governments and private institutions.
Titled “Anonymous' LulzXmas”, the video includes the monologue by Charlie Chaplin from “The Great Dictator”. It concludes with a quote from Thomas Jefferson, stating: “A government afraid of its citizens is a democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny.”
This is then followed by an ominous warning: “Prepare yourself for 2012.”
On Twitter, @YourAnonNews tweeted: “Anonymous LulzXmas video: http://t.co/rSqwQ3Gg. We made a list, checked it twice. Gonna find out what companies have been naughty... not nice."
