Another buy for SecureData

Johannesburg, 04 Sep 2007

JSE-listed SecureData has concluded an agreement to acquire 100% of the issued share capital of New Generation Solutions (NGS).

The announcement follows last week`s notice of its acquisition of Sensepost, for R32 million.

In a notice to shareholders yesterday, SecureData noted NGS distributes, supports and provides implementation services for a range of information technologies that address internal threat and voice security issues.

NGS will provide the company with a presence in this fast-growing segment, said SecureData.

The acquisition is in line with SecureData`s decision to focus on information management, it added.

As the acquisition is not material to SecureData, the company opted not to reveal the price of the purchase or its payment terms.
