Advanced Network Solutions (ANS) says it has been appointed exclusive Southern Africa distributor of DataJunction transformation tools.
"Our focus is on integration and the solutions provided by DataJunction complements this," says Peter Hall, ANS sales and marketing director.
According to Hall, the solutions will be marketed directly to end-users. Additionally, the setup partners of ANS will be able to incorporate the solutions into their OEMs as well as sell it to their end-users.
One of the advantages of the distributorship, Hall believes, is that the products have a major price advantage over its competitors. "A top of the range 50-user license Enterprise edition will set a company back about $25 000 while a typical setup can go for between $2 500 and $3 500.
"According to a recent survey by the GartnerGroup, integration makes up nearly 40% of IT spend in companies. Having said this, I believe the adoption of the DataJunction solutions to be spectacular because of its functionality and pricing," adds Hall.
