Johannesburg, 25 Nov 2008
Softline Enterprise has announced its top resellers for the period October 2007 to September 2008. Antinomy, which provides ERP and related solutions to a national customer base, was again awarded the number one position with Business Connexion and Jera Consulting taking second and third place, respectively. The Business Partner of the Year Awards 2008 take place in the Cape in March 2009.
Antinomy
The Antinomy team has in excess of 70 years experience in ERP software application, implementation and consultation, and their expertise also extends to providing CRM, BI and document management software solutions and support. Sales and Marketing Director Lee Ann Mounter says it is indeed an honour to be selected as the top achiever from a pool of 26 highly-talented business partners, both locally and internationally.
“We're delighted to receive this prestigious award which recognises our continued focus on delivering effective business solutions to our clients. Our thanks go to our clients who gave us the opportunity to serve them, and to our team of dedicated and professional people whose competence and commitment to service excellence earned this accolade. We were also privileged to have the support of the Softline Enterprise team who underpinned our sales and technical teams every step of the way.”
Business Connexion
Business Connexion is Africa's leading integrator of competitive, innovative and practical business IT solutions. The team offers across-the-board skills on Sage's Line 500, SalesLogix, PayPoint and X3 offerings, and has implemented these for organisations in the healthcare, petrochemical, communications and mining industries.
“Softline Enterprise has embraced the new channel management model, assisting us greatly through the growth of its internal sales and account management functions,” says Stephen Howe, Divisional Manager, Business Connexion. “Typically, a reseller would start to hear alarm bells when a vendor employs its own sales team, but Softline Enterprise's implementation of the new model has only strengthened our capabilities. With the new technologies that Sage has brought to market, I am certain that 2009 will see the company surpass the growth of the past few years, to become a household name in South Africa, as it is in the rest of the world.”
Jera Consulting
The company, which shared the top award with Antinomy last year, provides cost-effective and profitable ERP solutions to clients across Africa, and internationally. Managing Director Raymond de Kock says despite it having been a difficult year economically, Jera Consulting is fortunate to have many long-standing customers who continued to re-invest in their products by increasing modules and the number of licensed users.
“Due to its ease of use and easy deployment, Sage Line 500 is still the product of choice for our African customer base. Customers are particularly satisfied with the improvements in the product suite introduced with the launch of Version 7 and Sage 1 000, and many have already upgraded. Our focus on the document management software suite has also afforded us the opportunity to widen the scope of our delivery and provide our customers with improvement in their productivity.”
Jera Consulting and Softline Enterprise have embarked on an Africa roadshow to introduce the new products to existing and new customers. This first roadshow was well received in Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania and Mozambique. De Kock says the company looks forward to further success and is aiming for the top business partner slot in 2009.
