After just a few weeks on US soil, iSyncSolutions has gained its first client in Los Angeles, California. Blank Generation, which includes brands Iron Fist and 24hours, will be the first apparel business in the US to use Sync, having chosen to replace its current systems with Sync's apparel PLM software system.
Blank Generation is a design, fashion and licensing collective based in LA. Founded by Travis and Leanne Anderson, the company prides itself on a creative and unique approach to youth and street fashion as well as licensed properties.
While the company's strengths lie in niche markets, the recently acquired private label division offers expertise and business services to more mainstream accounts/markets such as Urban Outfitters, Nasty Gal, Wildfox Couture and the media industry.
Peter Booysen, MD of iSyncSolutions, who is now based in Orange County, California, says the success of Sync in this market is inevitable. Companies like Blank Generation have been extremely impressed with the fact that Sync has 18 industry leading modules packed into one all-encompassing solution.
By implementing Sync, the company can remove all the fragmented systems and replace them with one system at a much lower overall cost. Sync is also the only apparel PLM solution with its own B2B iPad Sales App (which was recently awarded the iOS Enterprise App of the Year award in SA), demonstrating the team's commitment to providing the best apparel PLM software solution to the industry.
The knowledge and experience gained by expanding into the US will benefit existing as well as future Sync clients in South Africa, as the system constantly improves and expands to remain abreast of the latest developments in technology and changing industry needs.
