Apparent Networks integrates with Kaseya

Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts, 04 Jan 2011

Apparent Networks, the leading provider of Remote Performance Management (RPM), today announced that its solutions are now compatible with Kaseya, the leading global provider of systems management software for IT service providers and departments.

Managed service providers and IT departments will now have the ability to both manage their IT systems and, for the first time, also ensure top performance of their networks and applications.

Apparent Networks' PathView Cloud service will integrate with the existing Kaseya IT Automation Framework to provide unparalleled visibility into the critical performance levels of sensitive applications such as VOIP, videoconferencing, IP storage and virtual desktop services.

“As both a Kaseya and an Apparent Networks customer, we can offer our customers an even higher level of IT management,” said Bill Abram, President of Pragmatix. “These are two great technologies that are giving us insight we never had before into how our services are performing and alerting us when a problem arises, all from the same integrated console.”

“The Apparent Networks and Kaseya integration brings together the automated IT system management that every partner needs with an unmatched ability to monitor and troubleshoot the performance of the services and applications they are delivering,” said Jim Melvin, CEO of Apparent Networks. “The combined functionality of these two technologies make this expanded service a smart choice for every service provider and IT manager.”

The PathView Remote Performance Management suite of cloud-based services enables pre-assessment, continuous monitoring and troubleshooting for network and application performance. In collaboration with Kaseya, these performance management services allow customers to understand specific metrics related to VOIP QOS, service and application SLA validation, as well as identify and analyse the root cause of network problems.

“The integration with Apparent Networks broadens the core capabilities and value of the overall Kaseya framework. Our customers can benefit from not only a powerful, automated platform for managing IT, but also gain a more complete visibility into their networks and applications,” said Jim Alves, executive vice-president of strategy and product marketing at Kaseya.
