Online Apple store, AppleMac Centre, has selected Kalliba memory as its choice for memory upgrades on its website (www.applemaccentre.co.za) Kalliba is manufactured locally by Kalliba Technologies and is distributed by AXiZ.
The site, which was set up three months ago, aims to become the most trusted and preferred online Apple Authorised Reseller for Apple users and enthusiasts in South Africa. Apart from the memory upgrades provided by Kalliba, the store offers a wide array of Apple equipment from scanners to printers and software.
"We selected Kalliba memory as our preferred memory options because of the high quality of the product," says Hein Jonker, Integrations Manager of PixelArt, the company behind the site. "We have also been impressed with the high levels of product availability and service from AXiZ."
He adds that the site received 24 000 visitors in the two weeks after its launch through M-Web, and since then has seen well over 6000 return visitors. AppleMac Centre was launched via advertisements and competitions on M-Web, which has over 260 000 subscribers.
PixelArt, which is a part of the Hirt and Carter group, provides hardware, software and support for Apple equipment. "We formed AppleMac Centre with a commitment to providing Internet users with the best value in high quality brand name equipment," says Jonker. "Not only do we sell the products, but we support them too. By offering our clients this kind of solution, we can insure that they will never have to go to a third party agent for support."
Kalliba memory, a high-quality product with a six-layer Printed Circuit Board (PCB), is manufactured locally by Kalliba Technologies. The modules are produced to ISO9002 standards and uses top-quality components from leading suppliers such as Hyundai and Toshiba.
