Unihold Systems and Technologies (UST) has announced the availability of Applix Enterprise, a Customer Interactive Software (CIS) service solution that runs on Windows, NT, UNIX, and Web-based platforms. Dave Brooke, general manager of CIS at Unihold Systems and Technologies. says Applix Enterprise was developed for companies wishing to consolidate customer information in sales and support departments. "Applix Enterprise allows staff to put information in the hands of the right people at the right time," he says.
According to Gartner Group reports, it costs at least five times more to acquire a new customer than it does to sell to an existing one. "This is reason enough for us to explore new ways to achieve customer loyalty," adds Brooke.
"Although there are many reasons why a company earns a customer`s loyalty, the common thread that runs through all of them is the creation of a feeling of intimacy between your organisation and your customer." CIS is a front-line business application used to acquire and retain long-term, profitable customers. Sales people will know when a customer has unresolved issues and the client service department will be able to help identify new sales opportunities.
Applix Enterprise offers a suite of CIS solution that supports an organisation`s customer service efforts as well as its infrastructure, and also integrates all customer-related activities. It begins with sales force automation, and continues with the integration of both customer service and quality assurance. The application also provides an extensive help desk foundation.
Applix Sales tracks each sale from initial lead generation through qualification, close, and fulfilment. It connects disparate databases so you`re the sales force can efficiently assemble, process, track and use critical information.
Applix Service ensures that calls are processed in the most efficient manner possible. Features include: an incident processing module for call logging from e-mail and fax; auto call assignments based on call symptoms, staff availability, and individual knowledge set; and a graphic workload monitor that generates reports on both group and rep level with the option to drill-down to access more detailed information.
Used in conjunction with Applix AnyWare, Enterprise can be delivered to users through their Web browser making it possible for an organisation to deploy the CIS software to remote sites over the corporate WAN or Internet. "Applix has designed this complementary suite of solutions for organisations that understand the value of a customer and are dedicated to delivering superior service," concludes Brooke.
