Arbor Networks strengthens Peakflow SP solution

Arbor Networks, partner of Westcon Security, has released the "Flex Licensing" options to the Peakflow SP solution, allowing customers to cost-effectively deploy the Peakflow SP solution pervasively across their network, vastly improving traffic visibility and advanced threat protection.

Many of the world's leading service providers rely on Arbor's Peakflow SP platform to proactively help fend off advanced threats such as botnets and volumetric and application-layer DDOS attacks, but with the release of "Flex Licensing", customers can now experience lower capex costs, cost-effective purchase and expansions, and less minimal hardware required.

Other benefits include faster deployments and upgrades, lower total cost of ownership and an independent platform and software licence, which support virtual machines.

"With Flex Licensing we believe that our customers will now be able to cost-effectively deploy the Peakflow SP solution pervasively across their own networks. This includes the entire topography from the peering/transit edge, to the core backbone, right through to the customer edge. This process will vastly improve traffic visibility as well as provide advanced threat protection," said Andrew Potgieter at Westcon Security Solutions - Data.
