Ardent Software SA, the data management software company, has announced a VAR agreement with New Dawn Technologies a totally black owned IT company. The arrangement includes the reselling and maintenance of DataStage, Ardent`s data extraction and transformation engine, used for data warehouse development and maintenance and the provision of business intelligence (BI) and data warehousing services.
Denzil de Klerk, Ardent`s product manager, says, "Ardent`s development of its channel with partnerships such as the one with New Dawn Technologies combines leading edge products with specialised services. New Dawn Technologies can add considerable value with strategic business analysis leading to a business focussed data warehouse design and implementation. It also has access to a very desirable market, that of government."
