Thabo Dibakwane, the sales and marketing manager to arivia.kom`s Focused Business Solutions (FBS) division, has the acumen and experience to meet the challenges of his new role.
Dibakwane, previously a mathematics and English teacher, hasn`t looked backed since entering the IT industry. He worked for Dimension Data as a business development manager before joining arivia.kom.
Prior to his time at Dimension Data he spent seven years at Fintech - part of the Altron Group - where he started as a product manager, moved into new product development and finally landed up in sales. This was the turning point in his career as he discovered his affinity for the pace and challenge of the sales environment. During his time at Fintech he also played a key role in the Transformation Committee.
Dibakwane`s life philosophy is "life goes on with or without you, so it`s up to you to make things happen". The person who has had the most influence on his life is advocate Dikgang Moseneke who grew up in the same neighbourhood as Dibakwane and whose achievements demonstrate that anything is achievable.
When he is not working, Dibakwane, who is married with five children, spends his time with his family, reading, and at church. He has recently started experimenting with golf.
