Arkateq focuses on value added services

Johannesburg, 14 May 2003

Arkateq (Pty) Ltd has revealed its next step in value added services to its clients, Internet e-mail and web page hosting. Born out of the need to control the connectivity chain of its NetServant clients, Arkateq has launched an Internet program, in conjunction with UUNet, in an effort to provide a better and more comprehensive service to its clients. "Our clients were in need of a single vendor solution that understood all the technologies involved, from Internet right up to the desktop " states Thomas Muller, the managing director of Arkateq.

"We just could not rely on the popular service providers to deliver support on par with our own " adds Andre Coetzee, marketing director of Arkateq. "We were being blamed for problems that were out of our control and thus we decided to take control " explains Coetzee further.

Arkateq provides a suite of services ranging from single e-mail addresses, web page hosting right up to physical connections to the Internet in partnership with UUNet.

This move has brought Arkateq closer to its goal of providing a total one vendor solution to its clients.
