Arrow, Telit extend pact

Arrow Electronics, a provider of products, services and solutions to industrial and commercial users of electronic components and enterprise computing solutions, is expanding its global relationship with Telit Solutions with a distribution agreement for North America, reports Trading Markets.

Telit, a provider of wireless technology, has distribution agreements with Arrow for Europe and Asia.

According to the company, Arrow's North American customers will now have access to Telit's complete line of wireless solutions, including components and design support for cellular applications, enhanced options for manufacturing and assistance with certification for end products.

Motorola selects Starent

Motorola has selected Starent Networks, a provider of infrastructure services, to provide multimedia core networking services for use in its LTE/SAE network offerings, according to CBRnetworking.

According to Starent Networks, the incorporation of its services into Motorola's long term evolution (LTE) portfolio will allow Motorola to offer a network for its operator customers.

The company also said that its products meet the functional requirements defined in the system architecture evolution (SAE) or evolved packet core (EPC) standards.

Intermec introduces mobile receipt printers

Intermec has unveiled the PB2 and PB3 mobile receipt printers providing solutions for DSD/route accounting, retail queue busting and field service applications, CRN Australia reports.

The printers are part of a solution encompassing receipt media, Medallion Support services and secure wireless interface via Bluetooth or 802.11g with Intermec rugged mobile computers.

“The PB2 and PB3 printers will be welcomed in the Australia/New Zealand (A/NZ) marketplace," says Tony Repaci, MD A/NZ.
