In line with an increasing focus on medium and large enterprises, Artec Computer Systems has announced the appointment of Patrick Maddox to the position of managing director of the company, while founder and outgoing MD Andrew Tucker has assumed the role of chief executive officer.
Comments Tucker: "Since our inception in 1992, Artec has consistently grown in profitability as well as in terms of the markets we address. Having developed solution offerings targeted at the corporate arena, the company has been restructured to allow us to focus on enterprise clients. With this structure, Artec is optimally positioned to deliver the level of technology as well as expertise demanded by top corporations."
He adds that Artec consistently strives to provide unmatched value in terms of pricing, support, accessibility, and business and technical advice.
"In today`s economy, you can never overestimate the value that trust brings to a partnership. Artec provides clients with a valuable guide on available technologies, and constructive insight into how technology can help drive business."
In his capacity as managing director, Maddox will focus closely on the day-to-day running of Artec Company, and the management of key client relationships. With considerable business and financial management experience, Maddox improves the company`s human resource management abilities and contributes to the determination and execution of Artec`s strategic direction.
"While Artec has to date predominantly focused on the medium sector of the market, we are strategically repositioned to offer services targeted at the enterprise, including our Managed Services Provision and mobility offerings. It is my intention to help drive Artec`s growth into this market with a combination of technical excellence and sound business logic," Maddox comments.
As CEO, Tucker continues to provide the driving entrepreneurial force behind the company he founded. He says his role is to guide the company`s strategic direction, inspire his team members and lead by example.
