Aruvio unveils GRC cloud solution

governance, risk and compliance (GRC) Aruvio has unveiled Aruvio GRC delivered as software as a service on the Salesforce.com platform, San Francisco Chronicle reports.

This comes at a time when compliance mandates are expected to continue to rise in the aftermath of government bailouts and taxpayer activism.

Rajesh Unadkat, CEO of Aruvio, points out that many GRC software solutions on the market are monolithic and complex, Digital Journal states.

Unadkat adds: “They cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to buy, take three to 12 months to deploy, all the while returning very little value because they are too complex to use for the average business users.”

Aruvio claims it hopes to simplify the GRC process with its cloud-based solution, Virtual Strategy Magazine says.

It is working with content providers such as the Unified Compliance Framework to make the adoption of standards and best practices easier.
