Ascent partners with Imperva

Ascent Technology and Imperva have partnered in a move that sees Ascent bringing Imperva's database security and compliance tools to its clients.

Lamberts explains that because Ascent is also technology-heterogeneous, it is in line with Ascent's strategy to partner with a company that offers heterogeneous tools.

Imperva chose to partner with Ascent because of the company's reputation and skill set, says Grant Reynolds, Imperva regional sales director for Africa.

According to Ascent, the suite of Imperva tools that will be available to its clients include Database Activity Monitoring, Database Firewall, Discovery and Assessment Server, User Rights Management for Databases, and ADC Insights.
