Ascential Software, the enterprise integration leader, has announced the validation by Siebel Systems of the integration between its Integrity 6.0 application and Siebel eBusiness Applications version 7.5.
Integrity is a foundation product in the new Ascential Enterprise Integration Suite. Integrity provides core data quality capabilities designed to ensure that strategic business systems deliver accurate, complete information to users across the enterprise.
Siebel provides organisations with a set of industry-specific best practices, CRM applications software, and business processes, enabling corporations to sell to, market to, and serve customers across multiple channels and lines of business. With this validation, customers of Siebel and Ascential can maximise the effectiveness of customer communications through enhanced data accuracy.
The combination of Integrity and Siebel eBusiness Applications delivers data quality services for bulk processing and transactional data quality functions. With enhanced data reliability, customers can leverage Siebel eBusiness Applications to create a customer-centric business. This results in efficient communications and lower cost of operations through the elimination of redundant and inaccurate customer contacts.

Ascential created this interactive real-time data quality solution for Siebel eBusiness Applications to cleanse specified fields before an insert or update into the Siebel database is made. The standard solution targets four Siebel business object types for data cleansing and deduplication: accounts, contacts, prospects, and business addresses. Integrity provides the data cleansing and matching processes for each of these Siebel business object types. Users can also opt to enable or disable data cleansing and deduplication for the various types of records.
