Brio Software, a leading provider of next-generation business intelligence tools represented locally by AST Enterprise Solutions Management, announced that Motorola`s global HR community has chosen Brio Intelligence to run and distribute the company`s human resources reports worldwide.
This expansion of the Brio product into the human resources function enables Motorola managers to obtain a global view of data, in order to better make important management decisions. Motorola employs approximately 97 000 employees worldwide. In an organisation of this size, an in-depth understanding of headcount and other key human resources indicators is critical to the bottom line.

More than 1 200 employees all over the world, from a broad cross-section of HR functional areas such as finance, staffing, recruiting and training, use the 750 reports and templates contained in the Brio solution. Most reporting relates to employee demographics or to payroll expenses.
In Motorola`s Semiconductor Products Sector (SPS), the Global Census Report is published weekly, complete with charts indicating weekly headcount totals and quarterly trend data, allowing recipients to track headcount from sector summary to regions, divisions and locations. Another key report published in the SPS is the monthly Business Metrics Report. This critical report monitors performance against key HR operating metrics. All reports are customised with a few mouse clicks and provide summary-level information, allowing decision-makers to drill into detail as needed.
