The course focuses on the work that needs to be done by a project manager for successful delivery of projects. It differs from IPM training, in that the course is structured around the project phases and the work that needs to be done in each phase, rather than simply focusing on the project management knowledge areas, as defined by PMBOK and packaged around Gartner`s IT project management process. These specific courses are more focused within the IT project management profession.
On completion of the course, candidates may enter the CompTIA IT Project + exam, which will give them an international accreditation in IT project management. The training courseware has been customised and aligned to project clients specific developed project management methodologies and, while still adhering to the CompTIA IT Project + standards.
