AST Enterprise Solutions Management (ESM), a business unit of the AST Group, has announced that the integration between Quest Central for DB2 v1.1 and Siebel eBusiness Applications has been successfully validated by Siebel Systems.
AST ESM is the sole distributor for Quest Software in southern Africa. Quest Software is a leading provider of application management solutions.
Quest Central for DB2 provides the database administrator (DBA) with quality tools that improve productivity, database performance, and application availability from a single, easy to use graphical application.
Quest Central for DB2 supports DB2 on any platform and has components for database administration, performance monitoring, space management, and SQL tuning. With Quest Central for DB2 clients can be confident that their Siebel implementation will be successful and performance issues will be addressed before end-users are affected.
Siebel Systems provides an integrated family of e-business applications software enabling multi-channel sales, marketing and customer service systems to be deployed over the Web, call centres, field reseller channels, retail, and other dealer networks. With this Siebel Validated solution, clients of AST Enterprise Solutions can choose a platform that best correlates with their business objectives. Quest Central for DB2 greatly enhances DB2 database administration and performance management.
