AST Enterprise Solutions Management (ESM), the sole distributor for Brio Software in southern Africa, has embarked on an intensive campaign to unlock further business value within existing solutions and packaged applications in order to assist AST`s clients in achieving real business value and corporate performance.
The Brio Business Performance application has been deployed internally by AST as an integral component of the AST Command Centre Remedy Helpdesk System, allowing service analysts to build reports and perform ad hoc queries on client data. Brio has also been deployed within the AST Group for strategic and tactical reporting in the HR and Payroll environments.
Vodacom Congo and Vodacom Lesotho are both using the Brio Intelligence suite with AST`s Telco-in-a-Box OSS solution for wireless networks in Africa. The AST ContinuAM fraud management application also provides an in-depth analytical view of operational and billing data and this is presented with the Brio Intelligence suite.
The mining industry has also adopted Brio to unlock business value. The Palaborwa Mining Company has selected Brio as its front-end reporting and analysis tool, working from an AST Business Intelligence Solutions-designed and -constructed data warehouse. Kumba Resources chose the Brio Intelligence suite because of its enhanced EIS Dashboard components, rapid deployment capability and ease of use.
The Government Employee Pension Fund is utilising the Brio Intelligence suite in conjunction with Ascential Software`s DataStage suite, in order to maximise data value and integrity within the AST-built line-of-business application.
