AST Products has entered into a strategic partnership with US-based Advanced Financial Solutions (AFS).
AFS is a leading provider of cheque and document imaging solutions to the world`s financial institutions and cash management operations in the public and private sectors. Its core products include cheque processing systems for banks, S&Ls and credit unions, remittance processing systems for corporate cash management operations, file folder and other paper document imaging systems and Internet e-commerce solutions for image and transaction management.
It currently owns 30% of the US banks operating in over 41 states. It has a presence in 16 countries outside of the US, of which two are SA and Namibia.
The partnership between AST and AFS was established to deliver the AFS solution into SA and Africa, providing AST with a solution that uniquely differentiates itself in the financial services market.
