AST Group subsidiary A-Fin Capital, a provider of finance services via banks and other institutions, has announced a new service to help prospective homeowners to gain trouble-free access to home loans.
A-Fin says the service is also geared for financing larger property developments.
MD Julius Steyn says the service will enable prospective homeowners and developers to contact the company by telephone, e-mail or A-Fin`s Web site for a standardised application form for finance.
"The application form has been designed to conform to the requirements of 17 finance institutions, which include the four big commercial banks."
The need to complete a variety of application forms from several institutions - usually a laborious process - is eliminated, he adds.
The application form is sent simultaneously to qualifying finance institutions for consideration, after which an offer may be made to the client, who is kept up to date throughout the process.
Steyn says the value of the system is that A-Fin can provide clients with an efficient and prompt service, and that the client can be assured of the best possible deal, as he has the option of which institution to do business with.
"The system saves time, effort and money for the client as well as the finance institution. A-Fin Capital sees to it that the client`s application gets to the right person at the finance institution and is monitored throughout the process to keep the client up to date."
