ASYST International SA, the southern African distributor of UK-based Access Accounts, today announced that Access Accounts has unveiled an updated version of its flagship SQL Server business solution: Dimensions 2.41.
Dimensions 2.41 contains 10 major enhancements to existing functionality, including:
* Stock allocation: included are new features for prioritising and `ring-fencing` stock for specific orders, which also facilitates more cost-effective delivery planning.
* Stock update to nominal: included are true real-time accounting for stock valuation and cost of sales, thus providing greater financial control.
* Consolidated sales orders: this feature now includes the capability of handling the delivery and invoicing needs of `trading groups` and similarly complex organisations.
`Transaction drill-down` has also been strengthened throughout the system, with powerful new enquiry screens and a 360-degree enquiry window. Instead of displaying transactions in isolation, this unique window reveals how each item fits into the entire flow of a company`s accounting activity.
