AT&T aims for exclusivity
AT&T is reportedly pushing to extend its contract to be the exclusive provider of Apple's iPhone, according to InformationWeek.
The touch-screen smartphone has been a runaway hit with consumers, and has poached many customers from rivals T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and Sprint Nextel.
But the exclusive deal reportedly runs out next year, and AT&T wants to extend that until 2011.

HD Zune on the horizon
Software Giant Microsoft is apparently planning to release a sleeker, updated version of its almost anonymous personal media player, the Zune, and mount a credible challenge to Apple's iPod Touch, reports ITProPortal.
A few days ago, Engadget released pictures of what appears to be a Zune HD media player with a slim, black bezel as well as a steel finish.
The images apparently came from a soon-to-be-announced marketing campaign for the new device.
