ATIO takes on the mid-market with Heat and GoldMine

By Atio Corporation
Johannesburg, 13 Sept 1999

ATIO and Ixchange have signed an agreement, appointing ATIO as a full-scale systems integrator of HEAT & GoldMine.

"This agreement cements ATIO`s role as a leading CRM supplier to the tier 2 market in South Africa," says Ivan Otterstrom, product manager of ATIO. "The HEAT/Goldmine combination delivers a fully fledged, affordable CRM solution which can be implemented in a matter of days.

"Many potential CRM customers have not been able to make use of CRM solutions due to the heavy price tag, but with HEAT/Goldmine, these companies can now play in first league," Otterstrom adds.

"Ixchange has elected to partner with ATIO as the company has a solid commitment to the call centre and CRM market," says Johan Botha, GoldMine SA MD. "Ixchange`s GoldMine and HEAT Partner Programme is a key component of Ixchange`s strategic sales and consulting efforts. Ixchange partners with a select group of highly qualified organisations, which can professionally represent its products in specific geographic and commercial markets. Partners are selected and certified based on their expertise in hardware, software and environments, as well as their demonstrated excellence in marketing, sales and customer support. "

In line with ATIO`s mission of "Crafting Competitive Companies", the combined HEAT/GoldMine product will deliver productivity improvements for a relatively small investment. "ATIO is convinced that it can help and assist new customers in becoming very successful."

Says Otterstrom: "We have now covered the upper-end of the market with our Oracle CRM agreement and are now prepared to tackle the huge opportunities in the mid-market arena with the Ixchange deal."

The agreement provides for ATIO to deliver Ixchange`s CRM solution throughout most parts of Africa, and Otterstrom says, with ATIO`s international focus, the company is expecting a certain market share on a continental basis.

"With our dominance in working CTI call centres, according to BMI, we are now positioned as the most interesting supplier in the market of competitive technologies", adds Otterstrom.
