Atio Corporation reports back 18 months after being appointed by Interactive Intelligence as a VAR in southern Africa.
An increase in the demand for effective business communications has spurred the growth of local ICT solutions and services specialist, Atio Corporation. Appointed in November 2001 by global software developer for IP telephony, contact centre automation and unified communications, Interactive Intelligence, Atio correctly predicted the need for a more comprehensive approach to business communications.
In the past 18 months, Atio Corporation has secured over 700 seats under its management in contact centre platforms. It has successfully sold fully blended contact centre solutions to WesBank, Mapp Healthcare and HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa). Automobile Association (AA), Randwater, One Technology Integration (OTI) and Smollan Holdings are existing Interactive Intelligence installations, which Atio has successfully converted onto its service level agreements for ongoing maintenance and support. A new unified messaging platform, totalling over 1 100 seats, was sold to De Beers.
"We are extremely pleased with our progress and believe that our success to date is largely due to our service excellence, systems support and in particular, our integration capabilities. Unlike traditional telecommunications and computer telephony integration solutions, Interactive Intelligence`s platforms offer a unique open, unified architecture that virtually eliminates the need for integration. Their architecture was designed to reduce start-up and maintenance costs, simplify administration and increase ease of customisation," says Chris Van der Sande, CEO, Atio Corporation.
Interactive Intelligence appointed Atio due to an increasing need for effective local support within the interaction centre arena. "We believe that our decision to appoint Atio in southern Africa was a good one. Thanks to their dedication and commitment to grow the local market, Interactive Intelligence has increased its market share and levels of brand awareness," says Gary Blough, Interactive Intelligence vice-president: EMEA sales.
