Attaus Technologies will be an exhibitor at the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) National Convention and Techworld, says Fox Business.
The show will be held at the Orlando World Centre Marriott Resort in Orlando, Florida, from 2 to 6 March.
The ICBA convention offers community bankers the chance to gain insight from industry leaders, view innovative banking technology products, and attend educational sessions and workshops.
Bank tech predicted to be top performer
Banking technology will be one of the top performing technology areas in 2008, according to Intrinsic Executive Search, says bobsguide.
From the results of "The European Technology Survey", during which over 100 CXO and VP level executives from the enterprise software sector were questioned, banking technology performed very well along with other markets including Web analytics, business intelligence and security software.
"Banking software vendors continue to offer the market a wide range of solutions across Europe," commented Ben Watkins, director, Intrinsic Executive Search. "We are receiving an ever-increasing demand for high calibre sales executives who are becoming harder than ever to find."
Tech impacts African banking
A director at the United Bank for Africa, Angela Nwabuoku, has said an assessment of the Nigerian financial services system has shown remarkable improvements in size and sophistication, with technology as the chief driver of growth, says allAfrica.com.
Areas that were noted to have been significantly transformed by technology include electronic funds transfers, real time gross settlement, automated clearing, direct debits, cards and ATMs, point of sale machines as well as Internet and mobile banking services.
Nwabuoku said a review of the value chain of the financial services market observed the permeation of technology and its impact on the way activities are performed.
