AudioCodes Ltd, a leading provider of voice over packet (VOP) technologies and systems for converged networks, and 3Com Corporation today announced that AudioCodes is supplying 3Com with gateways and media servers for the Internet protocol (IP) telephony enterprise market.
Beginning this year, 3Com enterprise voice solutions` global account managers and selected resellers and distributors have sold AudioCodes products that work with the 3Com Networked Telephony Solutions brand, including the VCX V7000, an award-winning carrier-class IP-platform.
AudioCodes is supplying 3Com with three types of products:
a. Digital Gateways (Mediant 2000);
b. Media Server (IPmedia 2000); and
c. Analogue Gateways (MediaPack).
These products enable enterprises to satisfy their business communications needs such as telephony connectivity and teleconferencing service and provide enhanced employee productivity tools such as unified communication applications - all based on IP to reduce connectivity and administration costs.
