We`re pleased to announce, effective 1 February, a new Avaya channel team structured to provide key support to our business partners in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Cheryl King, Avaya Channel Director, will head up the team. King`s vast experience in channel management, including seven years of service at Avaya, will assist this team in taking Avaya`s unique communications strategy to the market.
The channel team comprises Claire Celliers, Winnie Lipner and Carlos Gouveia.
Celliers will head up the Spescom DataFusion relationship. She spent over three years at Cisco in a direct sales role in South Africa and Africa, and brings this wealth of experience to Spescom.
Lipner is moving from a marketing role at the local Avaya offices to driving the Business Connexion relationship and she brings her in-depth knowledge of Avaya to the table.
Gouveia is well known in the local ICT industry and has been involved in selling network infrastructure for the past 10 years. He will head up the Dimension Data relationship.
Over the coming weeks and months, you will see more announcements introducing new additions to the South African team; all part of Avaya`s commitment to growing the business in this region.
