Aveksa showcases governance solutions

Aveksa, a provider of enterprise access governance solutions, will present its Aveksa Enterprise Access Governance Platform at the Gartner Identity & Access Management Summit in Orlando, Florida, reports Market Watch.

The Aveksa platform is a solution for identity and access governance, risk and compliance (GRC).

Aveksa automates the monitoring and reporting of user roles for information assets across the enterprise, enables discovery and life cycle management and provides visibility into who has access to what and whether compliance objectives are being met.

OpenPages, a provider of enterprise GRC management solutions, has released its survey results, which highlight future concerns regarding risk management for 2009, says International Business Times.

The survey, which polled over 150 strategic risk, governance and finance professionals from such Fortune 1000 companies as AIG, Carnival Corporation, TD Ameritrade and Duke Energy, was conducted at Opus 2008, the fifth annual OpenPages User Symposium in Boston.

While industry experts predict overall IT spending may be down next year, over 90% reported that investments in GRC technology will increase in 2009.

Business Objects, a SAP company, has released the latest versions of its solutions for enterprise performance management (EPM), which will provide customers with enhanced performance across both finance and operations, states PC Magazine.

The new version of the EPM solution integrates GRC solutions and has also introduced a spend analytics solution, a new EPM solution that will enable companies to extend performance management beyond finance to business operations.

These new additions to the Business Objects EPM portfolio aim to deliver the ability to leverage enterprise data, lower total cost of ownership and increase scalability.
