SAS Institute SA, leader in business intelligence, has received an award from Unisys for its outstanding contribution to the success of a major data warehousing project within Nedbank's Retail Division.
Nedbank has just successfully completed the migration of its SAS Business Intelligence data warehousing system to an Intel Itanium 2 processor-based Unisys ES7000 server running Windows 2003 Data Center Server (64-bit Edition) as part of its drive to increase operational efficiencies.
This system is the first of its kind in SA and utilises new, state-of-the-art technology.
