The new AXIS 213 PTZ Network Camera, with superior image quality, is a powerful solution designed for advanced remote monitoring tasks. Operating under all lighting conditions, the camera is ideal for installations that require round-the-clock, high quality video.
The AXIS 213 PTZ Network Camera is an integrated, all-in-one, pan/tilt/zoom network camera for remote monitoring over standard IP networks. With powerful zoom and advanced remote PTZ control, the AXIS 213 PTZ stands out as a very flexible and versatile solution for most remote monitoring applications. For instance, small business owners can use just one camera to monitor a store, as well as zoom in on critical areas such as the cash registers. It is also an ideal solution for remote monitoring of office areas, construction sites and as a tool for LAN-based education and remote troubleshooting.
AXIS 213 PTZ is a network camera with built-in 26x optical zoom, auto focus lens and IR mode for night time conditions. It delivers superior image quality with resolutions of up to 768x576 at 25 frames per second (PAL), or 704x480 at 30 frames per second (NTSC). AXIS 213 PTZ`s unique combination of simultaneous Motion JPEG and advanced MPEG-4 streams allows systems to be optimised for image quality and bandwidth-efficiency. (MPEG-4 available as a free downloadable upgrade in Q1 2005.) For users requiring audio, the AXIS 213CM Connection Module is available as an accessory, adding two-way audio plus alarm inputs and outputs to the camera.
